Ahead of the return of my fave ball breaker Kat Slater Moon , is her Nana Mo Harris (played by Laila Morse). For many years I have loved the Slater women , I have laughed and shook my head and enjoyed their many adventures, and fights but the one member of their family I had a love/hate relationship with is their Nan.
Mo is always looking for a fast way to make cash, ruin the girls nights by doing things they didn't expect her to do, and that's why she's like a noose around their necks most of the time.
If Mo took a step back once in a while and thought " You know what, I shouldn't be doing this the girls will be furious with me" They wouldn't get so pissed at her in the first place.
Mo's dealings with Fat Elvis to buy knock off gear for Kat and Stacey's stall, her eating the triffle Stacey made for a dinner at Bradley's parents house and generally being a pain in the ass with Kat shouting the odds all the time and telling her off both amused me and made me angry.
In January 2016 Mo faced her biggest fight with Kat when Sister Ruth a nun at the convent Kat gave birth to two babies at came to visit Kat to tell her about her son.
Kat was upset and Angry and Mo ran like a coward in the bathroom , to hide from Kat who was behaving like a heat seeking misile. And she was well within her rights to know the truth.
Mo told her that Viv( Kat's mum) upon hearing that Kat had twins and one of them was a boy refused to take the boy , and Kat wasn't to know all of this was going down because she was having blackouts after giving birth to her babies.
In scenes airing tomorrow March 16th Mo arrives back in Walford to make the announcement that Kat is dead.
Which leads the friends and family of our beautiful , Vivacious, hell cat to raise money for some sort of scheme that Mo has cooked up.
According to spoilers Kat shows up and she shocks everyone to announce she's not dead and she becomes angry with her Nan for the big lie she told,
Mo better be quick on her feet this go around, because Kat will rip her apart if she doesn't come clean about why she's doing this.
Either way I can't wait for Mo to make her first appearance in ages , All hail the Slaters, and Mo Harris you devil of a woman we fans can wait to see what you get up to lol.
They say more Slater secrets are about to crop up , my one wish is that Declan the guy in RedWater wasn't Kat's son after all and that it was Sean who actually was.
Whatever the outcome , I can see Mo winding up breaking down in tears after Kat had reamed her out again.
They'll fight and they'll make up and that's why I love them so much. No matter what the crisis is , the Slater women stand together as one.
